I recently blogged on this video posting still captures from it. In the video the outline of the subject is visible and a tree is moved by the "cloaked" subject.
There are many that scoff at the notion that the Bigfoot exhibit these "supernatural" like abilities. The evidence is mounting in the form of both videos and multiple credible eye witnesses, that in fact, the Bigfoot have this capability. I know I used the term "supernatural" to describe this ability, but it only appears that way because we do not understand how they do it. The use of infrasound or some other method may produce this cloaking affect. The US Military is currently developing "cloaking" technology, and some speculate it may already be perfected and deployed.
For those that wish Bigfoot was only "flesh and blood", I understand your apprehension. When I first started my research I was convinced they were flesh and blood humanoids. Five years of first hand experience has shown me that is not the case. They are flesh and blood, but they have knowledge and abilities we do not understand.

The Bigfoot Field Journal - Volume II - eBook
DNA Study Final Results Edition
As
one of America's leading Bigfoot researchers, Scott Carpenter has been featured
on Animal Planet’s hit show “Finding Bigfoot” and Les Stroud’s hit show
“Survivorman – Bigfoot” airing on the Discovery and the Science Channel. The
Bigfoot Field Journal Volume II is a continuation of the first volume,
chronicling Scott’s research and encounters over the past five years with
clear, high-definition pictures of the elusive Bigfoot.
“There are
many people that call themselves a "Bigfoot Researcher," few actually
earned the title. In the dozens of "researchers" I've met, the most
competent, most innovative and the most persistent would be Scott Carpenter. Scott is one of the nicest
and most credible individuals I have met in this research arena. Trust that
Scott is presenting quality research that few have ever had the privilege of
viewing. NABS is very lucky to have him on our team.”

Guest Appearance - Survivorman Bigfoot
I was privileged to host Les Stroud and David Paulides for their visit
to East Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains. The show Survivorman -
Bigfoot in which I appear will be aired Wednesday 04/29/2015 at 10:00 PM
on the Discovery Channel and on Friday 05/01/2015 at 10:00 PM on the
Science Channel. The show features the Great Smoky Mountains and other
research areas in East Tennessee.
Please note: David Paulides will not be on the show. David decided to stay off camera. Below is David's statment:
"Les Stroud contacted me and had read my books and asked for assistance
contacting witnesses and logistical ground support. I was offered on air
time, I refused and stated I would give him two ultra credible people
to put on their segments. Scott Carpenter works for us and is the centerpiece of this segment in the Great Smoky Mountains."

Possible Bigfoot Running Between Trees in National Park
On April 12th, 2015 my wife and I were in the National Park in an area known for wild flowers. We went off to ourselves to eat lunch. While eating lunch we heard bipedal foot falls coming toward us. Then suddenly the foot falls stopped. A couple minutes later I spot a large completely black figure move between the trees approximately 300 feet away from us.
I was sitting on a log, my camera is mounted on a mono-pod. I am slowly panning the camera around in a circle. When I saw the subject I did not know if I had the camera pointed in that direction. When I reviewed the video footage fortunately I did and captured the below footage. It is not conclusive but interesting. I find it unlikely there is a "ninja" hiker in the mountains, dressed in all black from head to toe, walking through thick waist high scrub brush, but ya never know....Tuesday, April 14, 2015
Gut Feeling Bigfoot
Do you ever just get a “gut” feeling about something? When
you are a Bigfoot researcher you rely heavily on your gut. When I began my
research I was warned about a phenomenon called “marking”. When you encounter a
Bigfoot and they realize you know what they are they appear to designate you
somehow. Some think it’s when they use infrasound on you or “zap” you that this
“marking” takes places. However or whenever it occurs I can attest that it
happens.
It happen to me on my first expedition in August of 2009. I
had stumbled upon a “day shelter” full of Honey Suckle and Sheep Sorrel. I had
apparently roused a Bigfoot out of its “watch out post”. Moments after finding
the shelter I heard loud bi-pedal foot falls splashing through a nearby mud
hole. When I went to investigate I was subjected to what I can only call “infrasound”.
I had an immense felling of dread, ringing in the ears, the hair on the back of
my neck was standing up, and I was having the fight or flight response. I
managed to shake off the effects and continue on my investigation but after
this event I found that I could “feel” the Bigfoot whenever they were nearby.
I know logically this makes no sense and many people will
dismiss it, but it is real and I do not have a “logical” explanation. I just
know the feeling I get and at times it can be disturbing. Being marked by a Bigfoot
it is a two way street in most cases and in my opinion more of a curse than a
blessing. I have traveled hundreds of miles from my home and found if I stay in
the area for more than twenty four hours the local Bigfoot in the area will
seek me out. This making apparently can be sensed by any local Bigfoot.
On Sunday, March 29th of 2015 I had one of my gut
feelings. I was hiking with my wife in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
on a trail that has a history of Bigfoot activity. We stopped to take a break
when I began to have the “feeling”. My attention was drawn to an area across a ravine
approximately 300 feet away from us. I filmed the area slowly with my camera on
full zoom. Though I did not spot anything while on the trail later review found
the familiar “dark coke bottle” look of two deep set eyes peering around a tree
at us.
I was able to capture a few seconds of this on as he looked
at us. During the video he comes out from behind the tree as if it knows I am
filming in his direction. The Bigfoot at times not present, other times it is
looking down and to its left, while for a brief few moments it is looking
directly at the camera.
I have no tangible explanation for the gut feeling, I only
know it happens, and it has helped me get footage of the Bigfoot on many
occasions.

The Cloaked Bigfoot
Can the Bigfoot actually go into what is known as stealth
mode? Many have speculated on this for years. I have been fortunate enough to
video this “stealth mode” or sometimes called the “predator effect”. I have
written a blog post about my theory of how the Bigfoot actually go into this
stealth mode using infrasound to “tune” the water vapor in the air into
thousands of prisms to reflect light away from their bodies. (Advanced Concepts - Stealth Mode)
This in essence
creates the visual “predator effect” which name was taken from the movie Predator
when it went into a stealth mode and became invisible except for a grainy
distortion as it bent the light. The Bigfoot can do something similar and the
visual effect is remarkably similar.
In a yet unpublished video I have captured a Bigfoot in this
“stealth mode”. I captured the footage on my “back trail” camera mounted on my
shoulder filming behind me. In the video you can clearly see the visual
distortion behind me. At one point in the video the Bigfoot actually moves a
tree limb. The movement can be seen clearly yet there is “nothing visible”.
There is no wind and only one tree limb is moved.
Below are still captures from the video that show the
Bigfoot in this stealth mode. If you look closely you can see the outline of
the creature. I have also inverted the still captures to make it easier to see
the “cloaked” Bigfoot.

Night Vision Bigfoot Revisited
![]() |
| Night Vision Scope w/ HD video camera attached. |
Below is the enhanced version and the original.
I had confided in my good friend Richard that I was getting these visitations at my home but the dern things were avoiding all my attempts to capture a picture of them on traditional trail cameras. Richard had purchased a 3rd Gen. Night Scope to use in his research a few years back. He was not currently using the scope and was kind enough to loan it to me.
I immediately went to work adapting a HD Video camera to the eye piece so I could record images at night. This scope was designed to be used with an IR emitter, but it is so sensitive that ambient light from the moon and in my case street lights are more than enough to illuminate my back yard for the scope. I have a working theory that the Bigfoot can see light in the Infrared Spectrum. This ability to film with very little electronic emissions is critical.
The only draw back to this setup is the scope itself. Since it was designed to be a rifle scope it does not have a "wide angle" setting. The scope has to be focused on a area at a fixed distance. This greatly limits my field of view. I place the scope and camera combination on my deck most nights. I point it in different directions every night since the field of view is only approximately 15 feet wide.
I have recorded flashes of things but no detail. On the night in question I was operating the scope/camera and searching for a subject because of all the commotion. I also used to zoom on the camera to look at areas more closely.
Another draw back to the camera/scope combo is it is very difficult to see things during operation. There is little contrast in the light green picture generated by the scope. That is why I did not see the subject in the camera when I was filming. Only after adjusting the brightness and contrast on my video viewer did I see the Bigfoot hiding.
I went out at a later date and recorded myself at night in order to have a comparison. I found that the Bigfoot was probably standing at an angle either kneeling or squatting as it looked at me. The interesting thing I found is regardless of time I took the video, in the day light or at night using the Night Vision scope it was every easy to conceal my body and only stick my head out.
Time and time again I hear "where is the body?" or "its just a disembodied head, it must be an artifact, their is no body". Well my head was not separated from my body (there are some in the Bigfoot community that wish it was :-) ) and the only visible part of me was my head.

This is a common practice in the wild. Deer especially use this tactic of hiding their entire body and only sticking their heads out to take a peek at a hunter. I have witnessed it many times. There is also the obvious reason, all the sensory organs are located on your head! The eyes, ears, and nose are used to locate and identify. It is smart not to expose your entire body from both a camouflage and danger perspective. I'm sure if your eyes were on your elbow the critics would be complaining we only get a shot of their elbows!!
