  1. This is so exciting Scott. Hoping this means it's going to be really active this year. Fantastic catch.

  2. I can relate to "video issues", Scott. I just recently purchased a "watch my back" video camera and now I must upgrade my computer to meet the specs :-)

Great hillside capture! Be careful out there!

    1. Yes nothing is ever as simple as it should be. The video looks great on the laptop before it has to be converted twice!!

      Thanks I will be careful...

  3. The first sequence provided a very good face shot. The sun reflected of it's brow ridge and nose. The mouth area was much brighter and I'm thinking it was showing it's teeth. In the second sequence you could tell it was squatting down with good visual of face. I think there were more in the brush. Scott, you have really trained yourself to see slight movements are a distance. Great job !

  4. Good stuff Scott. I have been following you for a while now. I live near Nashville and plan some more trips to the Smokies. Even took my wife on vacation to Mary Carter's place. Just a look see. Been to the Cohuttas on expedition as well. It's going to be tough getting a good pic or video with them claiming the high ground.

  5. Scott,

Very nice...at anypoint did you experience infrasound? Im wondering if now you can locate a BF because you start to experience the effects? Ex
You are walking down this hill and begin to experience symptoms which in turn cues you to stop and start scanning? Also, do you beleive after so long do you begin to build a tolerance to it?
