Bigfoot Hair Collection - DNA Project Samples

I have re-posted a video from February 2011 where I successfully capture hair in the trap. This hair was sent off to the DNA Project.

This is a very interesting short video by Jim Vieira about multiple races of giants living in North America. These skeletons have been and still are being found. I think modern science and certain instituions have much to hide for some reason. The giants mentioned were 7 to 11 feet tall with double rows of teeth. Dr. Ketchum mentions the following in her press release:

 “Our study has sequenced 20 whole mitochondrial genomes and utilized next generation sequencing to obtain 3 whole nuclear genomes from purported Sasquatch samples. The genome sequencing shows that Sasquatch mtDNA is identical to modern Homo sapiens, but Sasquatch nuDNA is a novel, unknown hominin related to Homo sapiens and other primate species. Our data indicate that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens.

Hominins are members of the taxonomic grouping Hominini, which includes all members of the genus Homo. Genetic testing has already ruled out Homo neanderthalis and the Denisova hominin as contributors to Sasquatch mtDNA or nuDNA. “The male progenitor that contributed the unknown sequence to this hybrid is unique as its DNA is more distantly removed from humans than other recently discovered hominins like the Denisovan individual,” explains Ketchum.

“Sasquatch nuclear DNA is incredibly novel and not at all what we had expected. While it has human nuclear DNA within its genome, there are also distinctly non-human, non-archaic hominin, and non-ape sequences. We describe it as a mosaic of human and novel non-human sequence. Further study is needed and is ongoing to better characterize and understand Sasquatch nuclear DNA.”
 

"Plot Watcher" Camera Set Up Near Bigfoot Sighting Area Captures Bear Acitivity

On November 18th, 2012 I had a Bigfoot sighting. I was not able to capture it on video but I did place a Primos DPS (Plot Watcher) camera on the ridge top where I spotted the Bigfoot. I reviewed the footage and captured a mother black bear and her cub. While not what I was hoping for the use of this area by black bears as a travel route is encouraging. I have found before in my research that the Bigfoot and Black Bear use the same travel routes in the National Park.

I have re-posted a video from January 2012 where I demonstrated how to setup a "hair trap" baited with bacon grease. Along with the bacon grease trap I also used apples and candy bars as bait to collect hair samples and saliva.

Bigfoot DNA Study Hair Samples, Finger Prints, and Candy Wrappers

With all the buzz that has been generated with the announcement that the Ketchum DNA Study will be released "very very soon", I thought it would be interesting to show you some of the actual hair samples that I submitted to the study. The samples were collected over a two year period in three locations, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, a Public Recreation Area, and my back yard. I also sent in a candy wrapper that may have contained saliva. I also found a large finger print on the sticky side of the tape with a large hair sample.

David Paulides - Bigfoot DNA Study Release "Very Very Close"

Dave Paulides, Executive Director of North American Bigfoot Search (NABS), announced today that the Bigfoot DNA Study is "Very Very Close" to a release date. Dave has posted this announcement via his webstite, The Bigfoot Blog #181.  I am proud to be apart of this ground breaking team. Through hard work and persistence we were able make this breakthrough were others had failed.

We were able to collect multiple hair samples using innovative new methods. One of the still capture photographs below,  taken from an infrared trail camera video captured at night, shows one of the probable hair donors.

The "Loss of Innocence" - Advice to Aspiring Bigfoot Researchers

I used to love the outdoors. I would go out alone and wander around in the forest, exploring new places, the further off the beaten path the better. I would go into the National Park and select a drainage and just go, walk in for a couple hours then turn around and walk back out. I preferred to hunt deer alone, finding spots so deep in the thickets that no one else would even dream of going back into these places. Every now and then I would get the feeling I was being watched, but I would shrug the feeling off and go back to enjoying my day.

During my outing on November 18th, I had a Bigfoot silhouette itself on the skyline for approximately 10 seconds. I have posted a video that shows the uncut footage. You can not see the Bigfoot in my footage. There is a "blobsquatch" but it is hard to tell anything. I go to the ridge top where I spotted the Bigfoot and place a Plot Watcher camera.

"Rock'N" Bigfoot

Over the three plus years I have been doing research, the Bigfoot and I have played an ongoing game with two sets of rocks. The routine is always the same. I visit the location, bring food, and move the rocks around. When I return the rocks have been rearranged. I have looked for meaning in the patterns that have been left. The 4-1 and 5-1 pattern was a recurring theme for over a year. I always assumed the Bigfoot were saying one of you  and four of us. Later the patterns changed to resemble possible syllabics words.

Is "Seeing" Actually Believing?

I know this blog is about Bigfoot but this video about UFO's over Denver is very interesting. What is even more baffling is that when the TV film crew went to the location they also filmed these "UFOS". Skeptics are saying the object is a Remote Control model or debris going up into the air. If you can barely see it with the naked eye because of the incredible speed the object is moving how is a person suppose to control what they can not even see?


This is a good study on people and human nature. Even when something can be duplicated and verified by independent sources they still "have doubts".

IMHO it appears to be some sort of military project given the "flare" from thrusters that can be viewed in some frames. But it definately fits the description of a Unidentified Flying Object.

Local County Mayor Declares "Bigfoot Day"

It appears that Animal Planets TV Show "Finding Bigfoot" is coming to East Tennessee. Today in the Knoxville News Sentinel the County Mayor declares a "Bigfoot Day" and announces the crew of the TV show will be in the area. Knoxville is the third largest County/City in Tennessee.

Bigfoot and the Native American Connection

Bush Indian is just one of the names the Bigfoot is known by in the Native American cultures, the Cherokee know him by Tsul 'Kalu (pronounced - Jutaculla or Judaculla). Below is the very interesting story of a Cherokee woman marrying a Tsul Kalu (Bigfoot). Note that the location of the town Kanuga is in my research area.

A long time ago a widow lived with her one daughter at the old town of Känuga on Pigeon river. The girl was of age to marry, and her mother used to talk with her a good deal.
One day, her mother told her she must be sure to take no one but a good hunter for a husband, so that they would have some one to take care of them and would always have plenty of meat in the house.
The girl said such a man was hard to find, but her mother advised her not to be in a hurry, and to wait until the right one came.

Another Residential Visit From Bigfoot

For those who are not regular followers of my blog I routinely have group of Bigfoot visit my home during the night. They routinely take dog food I have stored in a large rubber tub (with a snap seal lid) on my back deck. This all started about 3 years ago and I have footprints, hand prints, hair, audio, etc etc etc. Over the last two weeks I have had two more visits. I know this because of a large foot print, hand print, and scattered dog food on my deck.

A couple months ago I installed a brick walk way around my deck. I wondered how the Bigfoot would deal with this new obstacle. I found out last week when I found a deep heel print and toe prints. It appears that the Bigfoot stepped on the edge of the brick, reached over the rail, extracted some dog food, then replaced the lid. In doing so it dropped some dog food on the deck and left a nice foot print beside the brick.

In October of 2011 I was making my way down the over grown trail that leads to the feeding station on the Public Land research area. I come upon a small group of White Tail Deer. The deer did not spot me so I stopped and quietly watched them for approximately 10 minutes.

Hair Donor Bigfoot - Pictures Posted

I have posted photographs of the probable hair donors from the National Park on the Bigfoot Photographs and Sketches page. These four Bigfoot took turns pushing and shoving each other out of the way in order to peek at the trail camera from between the two trees. This gave me the idea to place packing tape sticky side out around the tree they were leaning against. The tactic worked and I collected a very large hair sample that was sent off the the Ketchum DNA Study. Below is a picture of the hair caught in the tape.

 

Did "Redchun" Capture A Bigfoot On Video??

Redchun posted an interesting video which shows a crouching figure right before dark. The figure appears to be moving but it is hard to tell exaclty what it is at that distance. I took some still caputres from the video and ran them through the "Blurity" filter. I also adjusted contrast, tones, and brightness and the results were very interesting.
